(Clayton James William Walker) #41

(Bryon Enns) #42

@Clayx - just wait for the May announcement:

(Arthur Pappas) #43

Were you lookin to trade the 350 or 501?

(Arthur Pappas) #44

I wonder who will be next to announce their EFI 2 strokes; Beta? Sherco? Yamaha? Or, will the move to EFI cause Yamaha to bow out?

(Clayton James William Walker) #45

Still not cool enough

(Bryon Enns) #47

everyone has their own idea of whats cool

(Arthur Pappas) #48

Yeah, but how much does it weigh?

(Bryon Enns) #49

Weight. Who cares? Clay's getting a "woodie" thinking how he can get the shingle mills pumping out these beauties.

(Clayton James William Walker) #50

A sub 200 pound inline 6 diesel / electric would be cool.

Or maybe a carbon fibre steam bike. That would be cool.

A night rider powered by moon beams would be awesome as well.

Pffffttttttt.....a 2stroke fi. Not cool.

(Arthur Pappas) #51

Only a couple three months away now.

(Clayton James William Walker) #52

Who cares?

(Arthur Pappas) #53

C'mon Clay, I know you miss riding a 2-stroke.

(Clayton James William Walker) #54

Not really. Disgusting polluters.

(Clayton James William Walker) #55

Good news. And they are zact saame as last year.

Love the color scheme -- orange frame plus black wheels is the dog's balls.

(Clayton James William Walker) #57

You Sure Like Dogs Balls.

(Bryon Enns) #58

now Sherco is ready to pull the trigger on FI

http://www.enduro21.com/index.php/40-general/2169-sherco-ready-but-waiting-with-2-stroke-fuel-injected-enduro-bikes

(Arthur Pappas) #59

Yep, Sherco was (supposedly) ready 18 months ago with their FI 2-strokes. I have not heard much out of the Beta camp, but I don't expect them to be caught with their pants down.

Not sure what the story from Yamaha will be. Will they continue to offer the YZ125/250/250X as a simple and cheap alternative to the technology leading Euro bikes, or join the party? In a year or two, the YZ250X, if left unchanged, could be $3000+ cheaper than the Euro bikes.

Yaaaaaaaaawn.... again...
