2018 KTM Freeride 250 F looks the bit

I never really jumped on the Freeride fan wagon but I gotta say I am diggin the just released Freeride 250 F. Looks the bit for McNutt/Vedder style single track duty but dunno how well the spaghetti forks would hold up (no pun intended) on faster open terrain trails.

Maybe it’s cause all my bikes are tanks but after a McNutt ride on the WR250f with Tux and a solo crossing on the 690R really like the FreeRide 250f

Ok let’s hear (or see) it!

150 EX-W is gonna be 91 kg for 2018. That might be the McNutt bike to rule over even the Wildman 144.

I believe the new KTM 150 is just a bored out 125, while the previous generation bike was a ‘real’ 150 (bored and stroked).

Sherco and Beta have new 125’s out, too. Small bore to tha reskew.

Holy shit – I just caught the fuel tank size on this new Freeride 250 F – 5L. Yes, you read that right, FIVE ****ING LITERS!

Lol @KTM

I am sure she’s so detuned it doesn’t even burn gas, it just sniffs the aroma from the tank. 40-50 kms ride at McRutt will be easy on 5l

That might be right, but you’ll need to stuff a fuel bottle in every pocket for mountain rides at place like Lytton, etc.
