You guys gonna hit this up? Man, I've had some good memories at the Newbie! Check out the sounds of the Hoover vacuum at the 1:31 mark!

I'm going to kamploops from the weekend

Running away eh! Scared of some DS action? Don't forget to give us a Big Kahuna ride report

(Clayton James William Walker) #4

I'm skipping the BK. Jacob is riding it though. Give a good duffy report.

(Arthur Pappas) #5

Oh yeah, looking forward to it -- bring it home Claydoh!

Here's the video of the first loop. There was a 20km east loop then a 30km west loop. Good times

Yep, the Newbie is always good fun. I didn't recognize a couple trails -- maybe they're new?

(Bryon Enns) #9

oh ya. they just keep on building there. Partly because all the high trails were snowed in this year so they built some connectors for the low stuff.

The 7:00 min to 10:00 min bit is totally unrecognizable to me -- I don't recall those bridges. Also, at around 24:30 looks like a new trail, too.

Who were you riding with?

(Bryon Enns) #11

I was riding with Finn Jenson.

Here is some vid from the bigger west loop.

Much more familiar trails in this vid. The climb at around the 24-minute mark is one of my fave trails at Tamihi.
